The King's Corner- Entire Historic Charleston House

Lots of construction made sleeping difficult. The lack of physical keys made it difficult when leaving the home since parking was in the rear. Someone had to lock the back door from the inside, no keypad and then exit out the front door and use keypad to lock. Returning back home was also difficult as you had to park in rear and walk all the way to front of house. The side path from the front to the rear parking was treacherous, we had a couple people fall since the ground was uneven and unlit.Large spacious home, beds on 1st floor and main hangout is upstairs. Good short drive location to majority of shops and restaurants.

The house is an area of major construction projects. The exterior of the house needs work, but the interior is lovely. The location is adequate for accessing downtown Charleston. Our group suffered two falls during our stay. The first was off the outdoor front steps with no hand rail. The second was due to a very slippery shower floor. Anti slip materials and grab bars are needed in each of the showers. A hand rail is needed for the front steps. The two parking spaces are in a public parking lot rather than a driveway. These were adequate,but not as secure. The kitchen is very well appointed and the main living area is very comfortable. Each bedroom was perfectly acceptable.

Such a great stay. The only unfortunate thing was all the construction around the house. Can’t be helped!

Beautiful home great location! Very convenient to King Street and downtown.

Nice, well equipped place. Beds on first floor mainly, living space mainly on 2nd floor.
