Uptown amenities in downtown Charleston Positive: Exceptional property, very clean and overall just a decent space. Plenty of windows, close bodega with all the groceries you would need. Very nice formal Italian restaurant close by, quint Asia food restaurant close by. Top of the line stay for an ole city! Negative: We did not like the chores affiliated with checkout. Check out was way too early and required us to take out the trash, load and start the dishwasher, remove the linens from the beds and put them on the kitchen floor. Just seemed much for a place that we paid a hefty price for. Also, I know Charleston is an ole city but include the parking in the price. Parking is not a leisure in a city like Charleston but the host could work with the tenants to explain and implement this together. Lastly, the entrance to the apartment could have been explained better. The walkway to the stairs to get to the apartment is well lighted but it is very small and working to make it a little more visible and open should be considered.
